  11.     I've been using FW4.01 a lot since it's been released and I've 
  12. run into what MAY be bugs in the program.  First of all, is there any way 
  13. of REMOVING page numbers if you've applied them and then want to take 
  14. them away? (decreasing the footnote space to 0 only overlaps the page 
  15. numbers with text).  Secondly, I use a lot of EPS clipart.  Cropping the 
  16. clipart provided with FW4 and then printing it to a postscript file is 
  17. fine, but when I try to crop ANY other EPS clipart that didn't come with 
  18. FW4, ie. those converted to EPS from other formats using CorelPhoto, the 
  19. clipart appears fine on the Amiga screen and appears to be incorporated 
  20. into the postscript file on printing, but when that file is dumped to a 
  21. normal postscript printer, text wraps normally around the clipart, but in 
  22. place of the clipart is simply a big white blank spot.

  24.     Thirdly, I've noticed on a few occasions that when using the 
  25. spell checker, a word will be highlighted and said 'incorrect spelling' 
  26. (not repeated word or anything), but the suggestion will of course be the 
  27. same word because the word IS spelled correctly (I can't remember which 
  28. words this happened on, but if I run into them again, I'll keep track of it).

  30.     Fourthly - I guess this is a limitation of the program? - but do
  31. the provided way to make 'Footnotes' really limit the length of the
  32. footnote one can use?  I can't understand how hard it could be to allow
  33. REAL WYSIWYG footnotes ala the old WP4.1 even had.  I also don't
  34. understand why people say that 'footnotes' aren't professional anyway - I
  35. mean, any REAL textbook will have them.  Who would want to have to turn to
  36. a set of endnotes everytime (granted endnotes are acceptable for quote
  37. references though), when a simple endnote (ie. explaining the origination
  38. of a term) on the same page would be SO much more effective and less
  39. time-consuming for the reader.

  41.     Fifthly, I think Arexx macros or selectable menu items should be
  42. provided so that the function keys can be linked to SuperScript and
  43. SubScript.  These 2 in particular are only available in the Typesetting
  44. menu and the predefined buttons as far as I can tell...

  46.     Glad to know tables will be in FW5. Keep up the good work.
